Coney Island Hidden Beach Picnic Spot, Singapore

Coney Island is very easily accessible from Punggol Central, we don’t have to bring our passports or take any ferries. We took the main trail that led us from the main West entrance of the island to the East entrance near Lorong Halus but venture to the many coastal trails that branch out from the main trail. We were rewarded with glimpses of the developing mangrove and tiny serene beaches with beautiful hidden picnic spots but we made sure to keep a look out for the sandflies.

Camping Overnight East Coast Park, Singapore

Have fun setting up a tent in one of East Coast Park where camping is allowed. After pitching our tent, we can choose from a variety of activities to do for the day. Rent a bicycle or a pair of inline skates for an exploration around the park. Dig out our camera and snap some shots as keepsakes. Let loose our creative juices and mould sandcastles on the beach. Fly a kite high up into the sky or simply laze around on a mat, reading our favourite novel, while nibbling on snacks. In the evening, treat our growling stomachs to a delectable meal in one of the eateries in the vicinity. When night comes, the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks will lull you to a pleasant sleep.

We inviting family and friends to join us in celebrating Gem’s birthday as we unpacked our picnic basket, light up the picnic mat and open the bottles of wine.
